Redragon Ranger Lite M910-KS Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

Redragon Ranger Lite M910-KS is a budget wireless gaming mouse that can also be used as a wired mouse. It has RGB lighting and a right-handed ergonomic design. This is a large and heavy mouse compared to other Redragon mice.

Overall Design of Redragon Ranger Lite

The Redragon Ranger Lite has an ergonomic design with 9 programmable buttons and 5 onboard profiles that can be customized using the Redragon software. Though the body of this mouse is mainly made of plastic, it is still a heavy mouse weighing around 130 grams. Its dimension is 4.9×2.85×1.56 inch (LxWXH) which makes this also a large mouse, claw grip or palm grip is more comfortable when using this mouse.

When it comes to RGB lighting, Redragon Ranger M910-KS has 8 backlight profiles and can be further customized with the Redragon software. It has a wide range of RGB light colors and can be seen in two thin strips on the top of the mouse, in front of the mouse, and the logo. Even though it has varied RGB lights, but I find the kind of dim.

Sensor

Redragon Ranger Lite uses Pixart 3327, a performance-focused mouse sensor that has a sensitivity ranging from 200-12400 DPI. It has a low lift-off range and doesn’t affect accuracy and precision when moving and lifting the mouse too fast.

It also has four available polling rates that can be adjusted with the Redragon software, 125/250/500/1000Hz polling rate, it comes out-of-the-box already set in 1000hz. It also can detect 30g acceleration.

In my personal experience, there can be times that the mouse has a significant latency spike, but this is few and far in between. If you want a consistent mouse, you might not like this mouse but considering the price and features it has this is still a bang for your buck.

Connectivity

Redragon Ranger M910-KS is a wireless mouse that can be paired with your computer using a 2.4Ghz dongle that can a relative latency. It also can be used with a wired connection if ever the battery dies, you can use this mouse while it is charging connected to your computer.

Sadly, this doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity, the 2.4Ghz dongle is the only way to use this wirelessly.

Conclusion

Would I recommend this mouse? I would recommend this mouse if you were looking for a wireless mouse that only costs within a $40 budget. Just be reminded that there are times when bad latency can pop its ugly head during gaming. I used this to play Dota 2 and CSGO, I would sometimes feel the increase in latency but if you are not really a hardcore gamer you might not feel it.

This is a good budget gaming mouse full of features and with a cheap price tag, it gives increased value for any budget gamer.
